FT Business of Luxury Summit – Asia Edition 2026
19–20 Oct 2026 · Bangkok, Thailand

Asia is where the industry expects its next wave of growth, and this is the room where brands, investors and cultural figures put that idea to the test. Holding it in Bangkok puts Thailand’s push for high-value tourism at the centre of the conversation.
- 2nd Asia edition
- 2 days, in person and online
- Co-organised by FT Live and Nikkei
The FT Business of Luxury Summit returns to Asia for its second regional edition, co-organised by FT Live and Nikkei at the Capella Bangkok, on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The choice of city is deliberate: Thailand is moving away from volume tourism towards a high-value model built on medical wellness, fine dining, cultural festivals and bespoke travel, and Bangkok’s luxury retail footprint keeps growing.
Over two days the agenda works on three fronts. The macro picture and the shift in wealth, with economists from Oxford Economics, Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group and Eurasia Group. The pressure on watches and high jewellery as fashion and beauty move faster. And culture, fandom and soft power as real drivers of brand equity. The speaker line-up mixes executives such as Ryoji Shoda of OT Group (Onitsuka Tiger) with Angelica Cheung, founding editor of Vogue China, and stylist Law Roach.
